Tori
Great senior photos are more than just snapshots; they are a visual celebration of a young adult's journey and aspirations. These images capture the essence of a senior's personality, showcasing their unique interests, passions, and achievements. From the casual confidence of a favorite outfit to the focused determination in a sports uniform, each photo tells a piece of their story. These images serve as a time capsule, preserving memories of this pivotal moment and offering a glimpse into the future. Whether displayed on social media, adorning a yearbook, or cherished in a family album, great senior photos become lasting reminders of a time of growth, excitement, and endless possibilities.
Kaden
We recently had the chance to photograph Kaden — a standout soccer player and an exceptional student — and despite some rainy weather, this shoot was full of energy and style. We kicked things off at the soccer field, where Kaden was completely in his element. His focus and athleticism came through in every shot, even as the clouds rolled in.
From there, we headed to downtown Littleton. The streets were slick with rain, but the mood was anything but dreary. Kaden brought confidence and personality to each frame, blending perfectly with the urban backdrop.
Finally, we wrapped up at Hudson Gardens, where the soft, moody light gave everything a cinematic feel. The rain added a natural texture to the scenery — and Kaden didn’t miss a beat.
A little weather couldn’t stop this shoot from being a success. Thanks for bringing your A-game, Kaden!
Peyton
On a bright, sun-filled day, I had the pleasure of photographing Peyton in two of Colorado’s most scenic locations—historic downtown Littleton and the breathtaking Chatfield Farms at the Denver Botanic Gardens. The natural light was perfect, highlighting Peyton’s effortless beauty and vibrant personality. From the charming urban backdrop to the peaceful garden paths, every setting brought something unique to the session. It was a joy capturing her in such inspiring spaces.
Hagan
Pulling into the parking lot at South Valley Park for Hagan's shoot, all I could see to the west were dark clouds. I said to his mom Christy, "If we get rained out, we'll just reschedule - but let's see what happens." We made our way to the trailhead at the top of the rocks, shooting here and there along the way. The storm went right past us to the southeast and made a powerful backdrop for some of Hagan's shots. And, as we were shooting at the top of the trailhead, a rainbow appeared right behind Hagan! He didn't just get a rainbow - he got a double rainbow!! That's the magic I love about photography and working with studio lights - I can work with any lighting conditions.
Charlotte
When clients see this album in my studio the first thing they always ask me, "is that real?" [pointing to the rainbow]. Yes! it is real! Charlotte's session went from sunny to a quick storm and back to sunny. Because we work with studio lighting, we can make every lighting scenario work. The other thing clients ask is, "what did you do while it was raining?" We kept shooting on the porch of the farmhouse where we were sheltered from the rain. Colorado's weather is unpredictable, so we roll with the punches and when you bring your own sunshine, rainbows can happen!
